Dr. Enrique F. Benavides Jr.
Dr. Enrique F. Benavides Jr has been practicing OBGYN for over 40 years. He attended medical school in Monterrey, MX at La Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, and completed his residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. After finishing his residency he moved back to his hometown of Laredo, TX. Over the span of his career he has delivered thousands of newborns, and has seen countless patients. In 2014 he decided to focus his practice to only gynecology, anti-aging and regenerative medicine after receiving advanced training and is currently a board certified physician in the clinical science of anti-aging and regenerative medicine. His goal is to educate his patients in living healthier lives by eating better food and making better medication choices and therefore preventing long term chronic illnesses.
He has been married to his high school sweetheart Rosa for 51 years. They have one son Dr. Trey, whom he shares his medical practice with. Three daughters, Adriana, a local attorney, Dr. Lorena, a Gynecologist in Raleigh, NC and Ana Lisa and they have 11 grandchildren. He enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with his family. Dr. Benavides is an avid runner, having competed in numerous marathons, he particularly enjoys participating in marathons at Disney World where he has placed 1st in his age group.
Dr. Enrique F. Benavides III AKA, Dr. Trey
Dr. Enrique F. Benavides III, also known as Dr. Trey is a native of Laredo, a graduate of United HS, he received his degree in Medicine from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. His Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training was in Fort Worth at John Peter Smith Hospital. In 2004 he moved back to Laredo to practice alongside his father where he specializes in Obstetrics, and Gynecology for women of all ages.
Dr. Trey is an Associate Clinical Professor at Incarnate Word School of Osteopathy Medicine and UT Health Science Center- San Antonio.
He currently provides services at Laredo Medical Center where he has been the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the past 2 years.
Dr. Trey enjoys playing golf and traveling with his wife Laura and their four children.
Araceli L. Solis, FNP-C
Araceli L. Solis is board certified nurse practitioner that has received 2 master degrees from Texas A&M International University; one in nursing administration earned in 2019 and another degree as family nursing practitioner. Following her 2019 master's degree, she embarked on a journey as an educator in women's services, further honing her skills and enriching her knowledge. She has over 8 years in invaluable labor and delivery experience having worked at Laredo Medical Center-Women's Services.
Araceli hails from the vibrant community of Zapata. TX her dedication to family shines through, as does her love for running. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 23 years their son and their dog Romy.
